Objectives of the BCBPA
To encourage interest in the early history of British Columbia
To encourage development of the old skills and trades
To co-ordinate the activities of members throughout the province
To acquire lands, by purchase or otherwise, erect or otherwise provide a building or buildings for social, cultural or historical purposes
To encourage both competition, using original or reproduction firearms of the pioneer era, and the safe handling of such firearms
To encourage the organization of rendezvous, to promote re-enactment of the lifestyle of our forefathers
To distribute a newsletter to all members
